Obama Zips Through The Lower East Side

Last night, President Barack Obama was right in our hood, the Lower East Side. No, he wasn’t at a show at the Mercury Lounge (or, was he?). We were out when we saw his motorcade coming through.

The prez was at a taping of The View this morning. The episode is the first time a current U.S. president has visited a daytime talk show.

Shout out to the NYPD‘s Officer Carter, above. She was one of the police officers watching the streets for bad guys when el presidente rolled through.
