ACCESSORIES | Cecilia E. Ramos’ Jewelry

We met Brooklyn-based designer Cecilia E. Ramos at the Velita X Bottomless Closet party. Trained at MIT and Princeton for architecture, she uses unconventional materials to create modern, original jewelry.

“This is the piece that launched the line! I made it for fun using leftover architectural materials from school / model building, wore it, and received so many compliments and inquiries that I decided to design more jewelry and start a small line.”

SNAKE NECKLACE (below)
We all agreed this was our fave. It changes shape in sections. Ramos says it was an ” incredibly time intensive piece to make(!) but well worth the effort.” Tyra Banks bought one. FIERCE!
