SKATE | Brooklyn Workshop Creates FreeRider

Brooklyn Workshop‘s FreeRider SkateCycle is a work of pure engineering!  It’s what you get when you combine your bike and board or board and bike. This little beast won a Bronze 2010 IDEA award.  With 9″ wheels it is hooked up to conquer the rugged urban streets or your favorite skate spot.  FreeRide your way through the city on this SkateCycle.

Built using an aluminum frame and composite materials body parts.  Insert your feet between the wheels onto its slip-resistant pads and your off!  The SkateCycle is built using double-jointed/twisting axises to connect the wheels allowing the rider to propel themselves without taking their feet off the pads.  Would you rock this futuristic rider or keep your classic board?
